About Us

Since its establishment in 1954, the St. Helena chapter has carried on the Soroptimist tradition of helping women and girls achieve their goals. We believe the best way to improve the lives of women and girls is to improve their access to educational and professional training. To this end, we offer a host of unique scholarships and grants targeted at various age groups and opportunities. Through our annual crab feed, now in its 49th year, the club has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for these local programs.
