COVID-19 Protocols & Testing Requirements

Dear Supporters,

With the Soroptimist International of St. Helena’s Crab Feed right around the corner, we wanted to inform you of the updates to Napa County’s health & safety regulations and highlight the new changes for this year’s celebration. Due to increasing incidence of COVID-19, we will require that everyone who attends the Crab Feed Celebration to be either fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID PCR test result within 72 hours of the event.  Per our insurance carrier’s agreement, there will be NO exceptions.

We hope these additional precautions will make everyone safer and more comfortable in gathering to celebrate.

Check-In Procedures for Vaccination & Testing Verification

All guests and volunteers attending the Crab Feed are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test administered within 72-hours of attendance of the event. In order to be considered fully vaccinated in time for the event, you’ll need to have received your last Moderna or Pfizer (or single Johnson & Johnson) dose by January 21, 2022.

A photo of your government issued vaccination card or a negative test result saved to your phone is sufficient documentation for admittance.

To ensure speedy and seamless check in, please make sure to have access to your proof of vaccination/negative test. Please note that unregistered guests will not be admitted.

For COVID-19 testing locations in Napa Valley, please visit: https://www.countyofnapa.org/2963/Testing-Locations .

Attendance to the events will not be permitted without necessary documentation of negative COVID-19 test or a government issued proof of vaccination.

Updated Regulations – Mask Requirements

The County of Napa is now requiring the wearing of masks indoors for everyone, regardless of vaccination status while you are NOT actively eating or drinking.  Please come prepared with a mask as you may need to quickly transition through an indoor space or use the washroom facilities.

We are excited about seeing you in person this year!  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.  crabfeedsh@gmail.com

Sincerely,

Myriah Mutrux

Thank You to all our Business and Winery Donors.  Without your continued support for Soroptimist of St. Helena, we would not be able to give back to all those in need within our community!

Soroptimist is a global organization and while we work to make a difference in the lives of women and girls all over the world, we also make a strong impact in our local community for women and girls.  Soroptimist was founded on October 3, 1921 in Oakland, CA and we’ve just celebrated our 100th Birthday around the world.  While we are celebrating our 100th Birthday, we thought it would be fun to celebrate our own club’s 68th birthday, so we are having a BIG BIRTHDAY BASH at this crab feed,  our club has historically awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in life-changing scholarships and grants over the decades and we want to make this year’s crab feed an even bigger success than previous years, but we need your help in making our glocal (global and local) birthday celebrations something we’ll never forget.
